Technology: IPS panel are the most common for what I see. RESOLUTION: this is a big question, having a Mac mini (and not a MacBook which would scale), do you recommend 4k is enough OR 5k would be perfect for Macs resolution (retina effect)? I think 27" 4k would fit ok. Hertz: I watch a lot of content, films and videos, and I play sometimes (could connect my ps3 to it), so I need also hertz (being used to 60hz, I think 120/144 would be enough). (do not need exaggerated nits, but enough for non-dark room). HDR and contrast: good blacks (not necessarily absolute), good dark-area managing and very good brightness. Color gamut: I'm a photographer so I need good color accuracy (P3 gamut is ok, I'm not PRO, but good color accuracy is required). I never needed an external monitor, and now I'm doing a lot of research to understand which monitor is good for me. HI there, I'm waiting for my first Mac mini with silicon chip (16gb, 256).
